Gardasil
Gardasil (Merck & Co.) is a vaccine against certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV).

Gardasil is designed to prevent infection with HPV types 16, 18, 6, and 11. HPV types 16 and 18 currently cause about 70% of cervical cancer cases. Gardasil also protects against vulvar and vaginal cancers caused by HPV types 16 and 18. HPV types 6 and 11 cause about 90% of genital wart cases.
